- Details
| 6.4.2010 | JAMSTEC, TIT, JASRI team succeeded in re-creating the conditions equivalent to the Earth inner core. In the experiment the compound refractive lens of KIT/IMT was used. A research team of JAMSTEC, Tokyo Institute of Technology and JASRI has succeeded in re-creating 3.64 million atmospheres and a temperature of 5,500 C, equivalent to the conditions at the inner core of the Earth. The team examined iron particles placed in a diamond anvil and performed an X-ray crystal structural analysis at SPring-8/JASRI. In the series of experiment, a polymer compound refractive lens offered by us and IMT of KIT was used. |
| 31.3.2010 | First launch of MinCE to the Japanese market ASICON has for the first time sold the demonstrating machine of the Miniaturised micro Capillary Electrophoresis system "MinCE" to a Japanese analyser manufacturer. |
| 17-19.11.2009 | ASICON sponsors The 29th Symposium on Capillary Electrophoresis ASICON places its advertisement on the abstract book of The 29th Symposium on Capillary Electrophoresis scheduled from 17.11.2009 to 19.11.2009. |
| 29.10.2009 | Seminar on X-ray optics at SPring-8 by a KIT researcher. We are pleased to be given a chance to give a seminar on the following topics at SPring-8 / RIKEN. X-ray optics fabricated by X-ray lithography1. Compound refractive lenses for imaging systems to collimate and/or focus the X-ray beam even down to nanosize. Speaker: Dr. Juergen Mohr |
| 1.10.2009 | Forschungszentrum Karlsruhe changed its organisation into Karlsruhe Institute of Technology. Forschungszentrum Karlsruhe (FZK), one of the largest scientific institutes in Europe, has merged with Universitat Karlsruhe and officially started to call itself Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) since the beginning of October 2009. |
